Rigby Carey

Rigby provides investment advice to individuals, families and corporations.

Rigby attended Southern Methodist University and Wichita State University where he received a bachelor's degree in 1969. He completed graduate course work in finance and real estate.  Rigby holds the Series 7 (General Securities Representative), 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam), and 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor) securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable licenses.

Rigby was a vice president with First National Bank in Wichita before entering the securities industry in 1977. He started his own firm in 1979 which is the was the original predecessor to Fortis Advisors.

Rigby has worked with Wichita Jaycees, WSU Alumni Board, Via Christi Foundation Board, Via Christi Charity Classic Board for many years including being Tournament Director, Wichita Wagonmasters Captain 19, Wichita River Festival Volunteer over 20 years, WFI Board of Directors 3 terms, Wichita East Rotary, Admiral Wind Wagon Smith XXV 1998, Crestview Country Club Board of Directors, President 3 years, WSU SASO Board 2nd term.
